“Library A-thon” Marketing Planning Competition(Postponed)

I、 Introduction:

In order to promote cross-field creative learning, the library organizes “Library A-Thon” that allow students to use library resources to do the practice in the library. The theme of this competition will be related to “How to make good use of library resources to help university students have competitive advantage.” and seek for marketing ideas.

 

II、Eligibility:

1.  All ISU students, especially those who have participated in competition related to marketing planning.

2.  Apply in the form of a team with 4-6 members in each group and can be formed by different departments. Teams need to name their own. Each member can only participate in one team.

3. Please fill in the Google registration form and upload the entries to cloud drive (https://forms.gle/LsEUnAEsLZETyY3M6) before 05:00 pm on November 30th, 2020. The entries number is in the order of receiving.(Postponed)

4.  Each team can submit one entry only. Those who do not meet the requirements will be disqualified. The organizer will inform the participants by email whether they are qualified or not.

III. Procedure

A、Qualification review

1. Applicant Documents for preliminary review: Any self-designed marketing files (if you have not participated in any competition before) , or previous marketing competition registration information, entry certificates, award certificates (not necessary), the entries competitions (if there are physical products, please upload the photos.).

2. The jury will review and grade applications according to the following judgment standards.

A.  Content (Completion rate) 40%
B. Whether it is an "interdisciplinary" team 20%
C. Theme innovation 20%
D. Previous awards 20%


 Teams with the highest score will reach into the finals. The total number of qualified team members is limited to 36 people.(The selected teams are announced on Dec. 4, 2020.)

B、 Final Phase


 The finalists will complete their marketing plans and give a public briefing on their ideas within the time limit in 3308 Smart Classroom of 3F Main Campus Library between 10:20 am and 04:20 pm on Dec. 9th, 2020(Postponed).

The evaluation standards are as follow:

A. Briefing Content: 50%
B. Question Answer: 50%

IV、 Prizes

1.

(1組)Second place (1 team) NT$ 3,000
(1組)Third place (1 team) NT$ 2,000
The Honorable Mention Award (except the top three winners) NT$ 600

2. After the competition, the top three winners will be notified by Email with the electronic certificate of merit. Those who submit a qualified entry (except for the top three winners) will be awarded an electronic certificate of merit as well.

3. The prizes of top three winning teams in each Library A-Thon contest will be awarded at 01:30 pm on Dec. 16, 2020 at the 3308 3F Smart Classroom of Library at Main Campus, and will be interdisciplinary matched with other winning teams from different fields. For the honorable mention teams, please take the prize with your student ID card at 2F Circulation Desk of library at Main Campus from Dec. 17, 2020 – Dec. 24, 2020.

V、 Notices

1. The completion of the application is deemed to ensure that all the information provided is true and correct. If the information is incomplete and cannot be contacted, the team will be disqualified from being selected or awarded.

2. Entries must be original and have not infringed on the copyrights of others. Entrants must be responsible for the content of entries and ensure that they can be legally and reasonable used in public. In case of plagiarism, improper means and fraudulent use of other people's work the entry will be disqualified from this competition, and the entrants involved should be held legally liable and financially liable.

3. Materials and files sent in will not be returned. Please copy all files prior to submitting them.

4. In case of the entries involve or insinuate sensationalism, sexual, violent or any negative content that intentionally damage the image of organizer, the organizer remain the right to disqualify entries from competition without contacting, and the entrants involved should be held legally liable and financially liable.

5. The organizer will disqualify entries which contain negative contents during the registration stage. The entries that do not comply with regulations will not be eligible for the finals.

6. All the rewards are up to the decisions of jury.

7. For those teams that reach into the finals, if they cannot meet the requirement, they shall be deemed to be waived.

8. All entrants will be deemed to agree with the contents and regulations of the competition. The Organizers reserve the right of making final decisions and adjustments for any defects or disputes. Any alterations will be announced on the official website.
